Winford R Craig was first appointed to the Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations (CHR) in June, 2007 by Mayor Tom Murphy, and serves as the chair of CHR's Housing Committee within the Commission.
Commissioner Craig is the Director of Information Technology at the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh. He is a graduate student of St. Vincent College. Commissioner Craig is also a current student at Reform Presbyterian Seminary and Waynesburg College for a Master of Divinity and a Master of Business Administration degree respectively.
Commissioner Craig is very active in the community and serves as the chairperson of Wilkinsburg Weed and Seed, a member of the Wilkinsburg School District Technology Council, Western Pennsylvania's Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathamatics (STEM) board, a member of the Pittsburgh Board of Education Curriculum Development Committee, a board member of North Catholic High School, and advisory board member of the Allegheny County Regional Assets District (ARAD). In April 2012, Commissioner Craig was re-appointed to the Commission by Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and will continue to service until April 2015.
