On Friday, February 12, all 23 Citiparks community centers -- including 10 Recreation and 13 Healthy Active Living (Senior) Centers -- will be open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and will serve as warming centers for the public.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE: On Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 13 & 14) four regional Citiparks community centers will be open in the same capacity from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.:   Homewood Community Center, Brighton Heights Community Center, Sheraden Community Center and South Side Market House.

Congratulations to all of the award recipients and everyone that has participated in the National Arts Program / ARTWorks event.

Prizes awarded by classification:

Adult (Amateur, Intermediate, Professional)

  • 3 – First Place Awards of $300
  • 3 – Second Place Awards of $200
  • 3 – Third Place Awards of $100

Youth/Teen (Youth 12 and under; Teen 13-18)

  • 2 – First Place Awards of $75
  • 2 – Second Place Awards of $50
  • 2 – Third Place Awards of $25
A Best of Show Award of $300 presented.

Scholarships for art education classes at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts awarded.
Honorable Mention Ribbons awarded at the discretion of the judges.

Each artist receives a Certificate of Participation in The National Arts Program® Public Exhibit

The 2015 exhibit is open to the public on weekdays, April 4-17, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the City-County Building lobby. The exhibit is free to the public. All artists may upload photographs of their original artwork and their personal biography on the National Arts Program Foundation’s interactive website.
