BASEBALL FANS INVITED TO ATTEND "MAYOR'S CUP" AT PNC PARK JULY 28 & 29 
 
Boys and girls participating in Citiparks BIG League Sports baseball and softball leagues will take to the field at PNC Park for the annual “Mayor’s Cup Championship Games.”

Admission is free, but donations collected on July 28 and 29 will benefit the BIG League Sports program.  Spectator entry to PNC Park will be through the Left Field entrance on Thursday and the Home Plate entrance on Friday. (No coolers or large containers will be permitted.)  Parking is free after 3:00 p.m. in Lot 6 on General Robinson Street.

4:00 p.m. game LITTLE LEAGUE – Squirrel Hill vs Brookline 
6:00 p.m. game 12U SOFTBALL – Morningside vs Brookline 
8:00 p.m. game 15U SOFTBALL – Brookline #2 vs Swissvale 
10:00 p.m. game 18U SOFTBALL – Elliott vs Brookline 
 
Friday, July 29 
4:00 p.m. game PONY – Carrick vs 14th Ward 
6:30 p.m. game COLT – Carrick #1 vs Squirrel Hill 
9:00 p.m. game SUPER COLT – Elliott vs McKeesport

Citiparks Pittsburgh BIG League Sports is a cooperative effort between Citiparks, Pirates Charities and the Pittsburgh Penguins. The shared goal is to create comprehensive recreational programs that will provide increased quality athletic and education opportunities in Pittsburgh neighborhoods. Established in 1994, BIG League Sports now hosts a variety of programs that include baseball, softball, hockey, soccer and special programs for teams. BIG League has been called “the nation’s largest and most comprehensive inner city youth sports program."
