Healthy Active Living Cooling Centers

What are Cooling Centers?

When "real feel" temperatures reach 90 degrees or more as reported by the National Weather Service, Healthy Active Living Centers designated as "Cooling Centers" will extend their hours of operation for residents 60 years of age or older.

"Real feel" temperature measures a combination of temperature and humidity. On these days, the Centers will be open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. on weekdays, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends. Refreshments will be provided.
