Junior Tennis Summer Camps
Join the fun at the Junior Tennis Summer Camps at Schenley Park and Frick Park! Last summer the Junior Tennis Summer Camps welcomed 200 boys and girls from across the City of Pittsburgh and beyond.
The 2018 summer camp at Schenley Park runs half-day, every morning, 9 a.m. to Noon, Monday through Friday, from June 11 to June 29, 2018.
The 2018 summer camp at Frick Park runs all day, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, from July 2 to August 24, 2018.
In case of inclement weather, the camps may be held indoors at the Mellon Park Tennis Center (Mellon Bubble)—5th Avenue and Beechwood Boulevard.
All skill levels—beginner, intermediate and advanced tennis players—ages 4-16 are welcome!
Kids can bring their own racquets or they may borrow from the camp at no cost.
Junior Tennis Summer Camp helps attendees build self-confidence, learn social skills and develop good sportsmanship.
Who are the Camp Staff?
A diverse and strong team of five to seven tennis coaches lead the daily camp programs. Leading staff are certified in PTR Junior Development and the USTA Quickstart tennis approach.
The coaches and program are supported by the USTA 10 and Under Tennis and Net Generation initiatives.
Pre-Registration is encouraged but not required—walk-ins are always very welcome and registration is available every morning on site.
