The City of Pittsburgh, in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and the Office of Public Art, is seeking existing works of art or to commission new works of art in Market Square, the central public plaza in Downtown Pittsburgh, on a temporary basis or its Market Square Public Art program.  The exhibition period for this temporary public art program will take place from February – May 2017, 2018, and 2019.  Artists or teams of artists will be selected to participate in the program through this call for artists. There is a range of possible project budgets.  The budget for newly commissioned artworks is $50,000 - $75,000.  The budget to install existing artworks is $10,000 - $50,000.   See above link for full project details and application requirements and/or see past projects and more at
