Strategic Planning
Environmental Planning & Review

Environmental Planning and Review addresses both regulatory review and proactive advancement of projects.  The former addresses the issues of stormwater management, floodplain management, landslide prone slopes, undermined areas and steep slopes.   The proactive component addresses promoting the highest and best use of lands related to city parks and greenways, enhancement of the urban tree canopy, provision of recreational trails and ecosystem restoration.  Use of rivers and riparian lands are also addressed.
