Greetings,

I am pleased to inform you that after various conversations, and comments from Downtown residents regarding noise pollution affecting their quality of life, I have introduced legislation to address this concern.  Please click here to find out more about the legislation on the noise ordinance. 

The purpose of this legislation is to restrict night-time trash collection activities in the Downtown area within 300 feet of any residential structure.  This legislation recieved preliminary approval today in City Council, and will be on the agenda for final vote next week.  My hope is that this legislation on the noise ordinance will improve and strengthen your quality of life as a Downtown resident.
