The mission of the BDC is to oversee the implementation of various economic development strategies such as business recruitment, business expansion, business and job development and pursuit of funding opportunities to achieve these goals.  It also strives to address residential issues such as housing, public safety, and education to improve the quality of residential living.

Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation

The Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation seeks to re-knit the social, economic, and physical fabric of the Bloomfield, Garfield, and Friendship neighborhoods by engaging and inspiring members of the community.

East Liberty Development, Inc.

East Liberty Development, Inc. is a 501(c)3 community development corporation in Pittsburgh's East Liberty neighborhood. The mission of ELDI is to foster the revitalization of the East Liberty community.

Friendship Development Associates

FDA is a neighborhood based, professionally staffed, non-profit community development organization whose mission is to revitalize the Friendship area – a socially and economically diverse community – through strategic and responsible real estate development.

Lawrenceville Corporation

The mission of the Lawrenceville Corporation is: “to act as a catalyst and conduit for responsible growth and reinvestment in the Lawrenceville community.”

Neighbors in the Strip

In 1999, Neighbors in the Strip (NITS) began to evolve from the inactive Strip Business Merchants Association. Recognizing a need for more than just business promotions, a group of Strip District stakeholders united their efforts to form an organization that would "promote economic development opportunities, while preserving the personality, integrity and character of the Strip."
