Suspicious Activity Report
Remember - if there is any activity that you are currently witnessing or may pose an immediate threat, please call 9-1-1 to report it immediately!

If no one is at immediate risk yet you feel that government and law enforcement entities should be made aware of suspicious activity, please feel free to fill out the form below or email us at suspicious@city.pittsburgh.pa.us.

Public Safety officials will require as much information and details about what you saw as possible. Please review the two documents in the section "What Information to Include" for help when reporting individuals or vehicles that you saw involved during the suspicious activity.

If you have any questions about the reporting process or would like to discuss any previous activity that seems suspicious in nature, please feel free to call us Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 412-255-2633. REMEMBER - when witnessing something active, always call 9-1-1 immediately!

Please note: Factors such as race, ethnicity, national origin, or religious affiliation alone are not suspicious. For that reason, the public should report only suspicious behavior and situations (e.g., an unattended backpack in a public place or someone trying to break into a restricted area) rather than beliefs, thoughts, ideas, expressions, associations, or speech unrelated to terrorism or other criminal activity.
