YOUNG RUNNERS INVITED TO TAKE “ON YOUR MARK WITH HIGHMARK YOUTH CHALLENGE”
Again this year, the popular "On Your Mark with Highmark Youth Challenge" encourages children to take part the City of Pittsburgh Community Footrace Series by either running or walking the 5K distance.  Each child age 6 to 12 (as of June 1) who completes one footrace in the City of Pittsburgh Community Footrace Series — or each youth age 13 to 18 who completes two of the community footraces — receives free registration to The Great Race 5K courtesy of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.  Becoming involved is as simple as registering for the community footrace(s) – no additional application necessary.
