Can I intern with the Department of Innovation and Performance?
We are always looking for talented and energetic graduate and undergraduate students to support the many projects and initiatives we have in the Department of Information & Performance.
Students in the Computer and Information Science field are especially welcome, but we are willing to consider almost any major. In the past, we have had interns majoring in fields as diverse as Law, English, and Public and International Affairs. We are also interested in interns with skills in the areas of graphic design, government access television, or sustainability.
To get an idea of some of the work our interns have done, check out our 2015 and 2014 intern newsletters.
If you are interested in becoming an integral member of our team, please submit an internship application at the City of Pittsburgh Online Employment Center.
Please indicate on the application that you would like to work with Computer Information Systems and Media. Once you have submitted an application, we will be in touch if we would like to interview you.
If you have any questions about our internship program, please contact the Administration Manager, Stacy Hill, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Innovation & Performance
I&P aims to transform Pittsburgh into a world-class city through the intersections of technology, sustainability, and performance. While separate, like rotating wheel cogs, the three areas will only move forward when working together.
