In April of this year, City Council passed an ordinance creating the Pittsburgh Land Bank to help put vacant, tax–delinquent, and City-owned properties back to productive use.
A copy of the ordinance can be found here: Version 4
The 9-member Interim Board was appointed by City Council to draft policies and procedures for the operation of the Land Bank. This draft will be submitted to the Initial Board members of the Land Bank for adoption.
Interim board meetings are held in City Council Chambers on the 5th floor of the City County Building, and are open to the public. Meetings dates/times, agendas, and minutes are available on this webpage.
