Mayor Luke Ravenstahl today announced an action-packed schedule of free Citiparks events for the weekend of June 9 & 10, reminding residents that there’s plenty to enjoy in the City of Pittsburgh – all without spending a cent!
“While summer doesn’t officially arrive for a few weeks, Citiparks is launching many of its summer programs this weekend,” said Ravenstahl. “This summer many families are staying close to home and enjoying all that our region has to offer. I encourage residents to take advantage of the many free, fun-filled activities happening right in their backyards at our City’s beautiful parks.”
Whether you’re looking to relax at a concert, take in a movie under the stars, spend time with neighbors – or even enjoy a day of adventure and exploration at Riverview Park – you’ll find it all in the City of Pittsburgh this weekend.
