Shaler Street to close Saturday morning; Mooney Road closed Tuesday, Wednesday
The City of Pittsburgh advises that a segment of Shaler Street in Mount Washington will be temporarily closed on Saturday, May 24, 2014, from 6:00 a.m., until 2:00 p.m. Department of Public Works crews will clean up from a landslide along the curb between Well Street and Minnotte Square.
Also, a closure of Mooney Road in Lincoln Place has been rescheduled to begin on May 27, 2014, at 7:00 a.m., and reopen on May 28, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. The closing is necessary for a contractor to perform geotechnical exploratory work due to hillside instability.
Port Authority riders should be alert to temporary bus detours in the affected areas.
