The Innovation & Performance Transition Team, chaired by Chief Innovation & Performance Officer Debra Lam, was charged with offering recommendations to foster a culture of innovation and accountability necessary to make Pittsburgh a world-class city.
The team focused on the following areas:
Improving the adoption of technology and best practices.
Developing metrics to measure performance and accountability.
Improving collection and access to city data.
Adopting data-driven decision-making practices for department leadership.
Promoting sustainable practices across all city departments.
