  • Business opportunities will be posted to a consolidated bid board where you can view and respond.
  • Automatic email notification of business opportunities.
  • Ability to electronically submit bids or proposals.
  • Enhanced self-service vendor registration in a one-stop shop.
  • Improved vendor registration allowing for multiple users, contacts, attachments and more.
  • Ability to review award results/postings electronically.
  • Ability to maintain your own business opportunity archive.
  • Much more!

Getting Started with Vendor Registration

Go live began on December 9th, 2016. All previous vendors who sell products and/or services to the City of Pittsburgh and other local agencies will need to register with the site to begin bidding on opportunities listed on the site. All new vendors that wish to bid on future opportunities will need to register as well. No awards can be made without a vendor registration profile set up. Click on the Registration tab to begin your vendor profile set up. If there are any questions regarding Vendor Registration, please contact WebProcure.Support@perfect.com.

Vendor Registration Only

At this time only the vendor registration portion of the new bid tool is active so please get set up now. The Login feature to the bid tool will be available in January 2017.

Bid Opportunities Posting Transition

During the transition to the new system the City of Pittsburgh will still be utilizing the Beacon website so look for current opportunities there and check back with the Pittsburgh Purchasing site for new solicitations scheduled for mid to late January 2017! Current opportunities can be found here at Beacon.

Bid Opportunities

The City of Pittsburgh will begin posting new solicitations in the Bid Opportunities tab in January for all to view. Only registered vendors will be able to bid on new opportunities with the City so do not hesitate to get set up.

Vendor Profile Management

Vendors can currently register with the City of Pittsburgh but will not be able to Login and access the Vendor Management function until 2017.
