HOMESTEAD MAN CHARGED IN TWO SQUIRREL HILL ROBBERIES

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PITTSBURGH, PA – Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Zone 4 Officers recently apprehended a suspect believed to be responsible for at least two robberies in Squirrel Hill.

Aaron Yingling, 28, of Homestead, was arrested June 10 as he fled the scene of a robbery at Anytime Tan Tanning Club on Murray Avenue. While en route to the scene, Officers spotted a vehicle with a license plate matching one reported on seen leaving the club at the time of the robbery and initiated a traffic stop.

The suspect was found with more than $230 taken from Anytime Tan. Further investigation determined that Yingling was also responsible for a June 6 robbery of Vocelli Pizza on Murray Avenue in which $300 was taken. He will formally be charged tomorrow for the Vocellie robbery.
