Cool Roofs

Cool Roofs is an exciting collaboration between the Mayor’s Office of Service & Civic Engagement, the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability and Energy Efficiency, and Department of Public Works to facilitate the cooling of Pittsburgh roofs by applying a reflective white paint. Coating City roofs with this reflective white paint reduces green house gas emissions, cuts electricity costs, and saves tax-payer dollars. Join us in making Pittsburgh a greener, more livable city!
