Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 and Pittsburgh EMS were dispatched at 12:33 a.m. to the 2300 block of Lucina Avenue along the Overbrook and Carrick neighborhood border for a reported shooting.
Arriving responders located an adult male victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim had been involved in a domestic altercation before a known adult male actor shot him.
Medics transported the victim in grave condition. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital a short time later.
The male actor was taken into custody.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
