Police Investigate Shooting in Zone 3, One Injured

At approximately 10:15 p.m. on December 17, 2024, Zone 3 officers responded to a two-round ShotSpotter alert in the 200 block of Brownsville Road.

Arriving officers located an adult male with a gunshot wound to his left leg in the 300 block of Ibis Way. Pittsburgh EMS transported the victim to the hospital in stable condition.

The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene, including a shell casing and a live round.

Violence Prevention Unit Detectives are searching for the suspect. An investigation is ongoing.
