At approximately 1:45 p.m., Zone 2 officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 2500 block of Chauncey Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with a stab wound to his upper left arm. Witnesses say the victim had been arguing with an adult female, who subsequently stabbed him. Officers located the female suspect near the scene shortly after arrival.
Pittsburgh EMS and Firefighters provided immediate medical assistance to the victim. Medics transported the victim to the hospital in stable condition.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene for all evidence, recovering a kitchen knife believed to have been used in the incident.
The female suspect was arrested and is facing charges for aggravated assault.
