Police Search for Male Wanted on Warrants

Just after 3 a.m., a female texted 9-1-1 stating that a former domestic partner was in her apartment in violation of active PFA orders.

Police arrived on scene in the 3100 block of Cordell Place as the male was pulling out of the area in a vehicle reported stolen out of Jefferson Hills.

Officers got behind the vehicle as it fled at a high rate of speed. They found it crashed into a hillside and unoccupied a short time later on 18th Street between Josephine and Mary. 

Officers set up a perimeter and attempted to locate the actor on foot with the help of a K9, with negative results. 

Police returned to the apartment to ensure the female was transported to a safe location.

The investigation is ongoing.
