UPDATE 2 : Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in South Side Slopes

UPDATE 2: Police arrested a male and a female in connection with this incident.

Lee Tyler McGinnis, 24, is charged with Criminal Homicide, Conspiracy, Aggravated Assault, and Persons Not to Possess.

Destiny Jenkins, 23, is charged with Criminal Homicide and Criminal Conspiracy. 

McGinnis and Jenkins were transported to the Allegheny County Jail. 
 

UPDATE: Police have detained two individuals in connection with this incident. They were transported to headquarters for further questioning.

Pittsburgh Police, EMS, and Fire responded to a house on Sharon Street at Mount Oliver Street for a reported shooting just before 4:25 p.m.

Arriving units located a male victim on the main floor of the residence with a gunshot wound to the back. They rendered aid until medics arrived to transport him to the hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced deceased a short time later.

The early investigation points to an altercation between individuals who were known to each other. Police are looking for a male and female. 

The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene and Violent Crime Unit detectives transported one witness to headquarters.

The investigation is ongoing.
