Pittsburgh Fire Responds to 1-Alarm Fire in Marshall-Shadeland

Pittsburgh firefighters responded to an overnight residential structure fire in the 3000 block of Cake Way.
Three residents were home at the time of the fire and managed to escape out of the second floor front window. They were assisted down by a next door neighbor.
One adult injured their ankle from the landing, but declined transport to the hospital. One firefighter was transported in stable condition after sustaining a shoulder injury.
The fire originated in the rear of the house and the cause is under investigation by the Fire Investigation Unit.
