At approximately 8:00 p.m., Pittsburgh Police, Fire, and EMS were dispatched to the 5200 block of Dearborn Street in the Garfield neighborhood for reports of a vehicle into a parked car collision with possible entrapment.

Arriving responders located a sedan that had collided head-on with a parked SUV. The vehicle had been travelling eastbound on Dearborn Street when the collision took place.

An adult female driver was located in the roadway, just outside the driver’s door, and an adult male was found in the front passenger seat. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene. Both had gunshot wounds to their heads.

Also inside the vehicle was a young male child, approximately 2-years-old. He did not appear to suffer any injuries and was transported to Children’s Hospital in stable condition for medical evaluation.

Witnesses report a potential male actor fleeing the scene after the collision.

The Mobile Crime Unit was called to process all evidence at the scene, including recovered shell casings and any footage from nearby doorbell cameras.
