The City of Pittsburgh's new and improved Beacon website has been enhanced to a more user friendly, web-based eProcurement system. The system will help to streamline procurement processes as well as offer many new features and expanded services, including:
Go live began on December 9th, 2016. All previous vendors who sell products and/or services to the City of Pittsburgh and other local agencies will need to register with the site to begin bidding on opportunities listed on the site. All new vendors that wish to bid on future opportunities will need to register as well. No awards can be made without a vendor registration profile set up. Click on the Registration tab to begin your vendor profile set up. If there are any questions regarding Vendor Registration, please contact Webprocure-support@proactis.com.
As of January 27, 2017 the Bid Opportunities tab will be updated with new City of Pittsburgh solicitations on a regular basis so continue to check this page for new opportunities. Once you register and set up a vendor profile through the Registration tab you will be able to Login and bid on the current open opportunities.
The City of Pittsburgh along with the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Parking Authority, Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority, Sports & Exhibition Authority, and Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh have created a shared forecast of upcoming contract opportunities.
