Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
To find a Summer Food Site near you, you can text “FOOD” to 877-877 or Call 2-1-1 for the United Way Hotline to hear site locations. All kids 18 and under can visit any site during its specified serving time to receive a free meal. No registration is required to participate. A+ Schools Pittsburgh serves as a resource and catalyst for change by collecting and distributing critical information and providing specific ways for the community to help make Pittsburgh’s schools great.
Learn & Earn - Summer Youth Employment City of Pittsburgh and Alklegheny County.
Youth ages 14-21 can earn up to $1300 and gain valuable work experience June 27-August 5. Participants must be residents of Allegheny County and meet certain income guidelines. Young people can apply now until June 3. Visit to apply or get more information.
