The Public Art and Civic Design Division is in charge of the implementation of new commissions of public art, arts programs, and initiatives on City property, citywide.
The Division provides a vision of how public art will be created, maintained, and displayed in the City of Pittsburgh. We envision the integration of art into the “build environment” as an element of urban and building design as a means of reinforcing public gathering spaces, infrastructure, neighborhoods, and communities.
The following links are some of the current opportunities the Division has currently open for artists, designers, and the creative community at large to apply:

The Division administers the art selection for these opportunities and works with the Office of Management and Budget to release the Request for Proposals
