PITTSBURGH, PA (September 20, 2021) The City of Pittsburgh has announced that it will be seeking sponsors for the 2022 Fourth of July fireworks display, the centerpiece of the Pittsburgh Independence Day Celebration at Point State Park.
In recent years, the City has taken on the full financial responsibility of the fireworks display in addition to the cost of providing public works, public safety and other city support for the Independence Day Celebration. With pressing community needs throughout the city, the Office of Special Events is looking for a partner to invest in sponsoring the fireworks show.
