Male Shot Overnight in North Side

Summary:

Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers responded to a report of a male with a gunshot wound near the intersection of Pennsylvania and Allegheny avenues around 3:35 a.m.

Zone 1 officers located a male adult on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his leg and immediately applied a tourniquet. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.

The Crime Scene Unit processed the scene for evidence. Police are investigating.
