Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers from Zone 2, Fire and EMS responded to reports of a vehicle that had crashed into a residence in the 1700 block of Bentley Drive at approximately 7:30 a.m.
When they arrived on scene they found the vehicle to be empty.
Witnesses told police the female driver fled from the vehicle and hopped into a red vehicle driven by someone else, possibly a ride-sharing service.
The woman’s approximate age is not known, but witnesses told police she was wearing a type of head-covering.
There were no reported injuries to anyone inside the house or on the street.
Police are investigating.
