Pittsburgh EMS and Police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on the 300 block of Penfort Street shortly before 6 p.m.
Medics and Zone 1 officers located a 20-year-old male conscious in the street. He was transported to Allegheny General Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with police. The Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.
