Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers from Zone 1, as well as detectives from the Major Crimes Unit, responded to a ShotsSpotter activation, followed by 911 calls, of multiple shots fired in the 2700 block of Plough Street at 11:15 a.m.
When officers arrived on scene they found a male outside with gunshot wounds to the face and back.
He was transported by EMS to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police are investigating.
