UPDATE 1:
The male suspect in this case is described as tall, very thin, and in his early 20's.
Original post:
Pittsburgh Police - and one very concerned dog owner - are asking for the public's assistance after a puppy was stolen in the 2000 block of Beechwood Blvd. at 5:50 p.m.
Daphne is a 4-month-old mixed breed with black and white coloring, approximately 20 pounds, and wearing a pink collar.
The dog's owner was walking her near the Frick Park Environmental Center when an unknown male stopped and began petting the dog. At one point he picked the dog up and unhooked the leash from its collar. When the woman asked for her dog back he pushed her and ran off with the puppy.
If you spot Daphne, or have any information, please call Pittsburgh Police Zone 4 station at (412) 422-6520 or dial 9-1-1.
