Summary:
Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers responded to a report of a body found on Fountain Street near Sandusky Street around 7 a.m.
A medical worker from Allegheny General Hospital had parked on Fountain for work, saw the body of an adult female on the side of the road, and began CPR. Attempts to save her life, however, were unsuccessful.
There were no obvious signs of foul play.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office will release the woman's identity and determine the cause and manner of death. Pittsburgh Police's Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
