The female victim from this incident later succumbed to her wounds at the hospital. This is now being investigated as a homicide.
Original incident details:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 4 responded to a Shotspotter alert for shots fired in the 300 block of Flowers Avenue just before 8:40 p.m.
While en route, a vehicle stopped in front of officers on Blair Street at Eliza Street with two gunshot victims inside.
A female victim suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. Officers removed her from the vehicle and began CPR. Medic 12 transported her to the hospital in critical condition.
A male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the hand. EMS transported him to the hospital in stable condition.
Detectives from Major Crimes are investigating. The Crime Scene Unit processed both scenes.
