The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police has released its Annual Uniform Crime Report (UCR) statistics sheets for 2020, both citywide and for all six police zones.
The statistics, which cover January 1 to December 31, 2020 are prepared by the Crime Analysis Unit.
Citywide in 2020, Part 1 offenses, which include violent crimes and property crimes, fell by 20% from the previous year.
Part 1 Crimes also declined by nearly 32% last year when compared with the five-year average.
