Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the 800 block of Excelsior Street just before 6:30 p.m.
When they arrived on a scene a male victim was limping, but refused medical attention.
The driver of the vehicle fled on foot. The vehicle was towed from an open lot area between houses.
The investigation is ongoing.
