On March 17, just before 3:30 p.m. Pittsburgh Police Zone 1 units responded for shots fired in the area of East Street and Foreland Street.
While en route, officers received multiple 9-1-1 calls for reports of two vehicles shooting back and forth at each other.
Officers found three bullet holes in a window of a building in the 700 block of East Street and a vehicle that had also been struck once by gunfire.
One of the suspect vehicles was located unoccupied with multiple bullet holes at the intersection of Knoll Street and Ocala Street. It was towed to the Auto Squad.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
