UPDATE: This incident is being investigated as a homicide.
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 responded to a 911 call for an unresponsive male in 2800 block of McDowell Street around 12:30 a.m.
Responding officers located a male victim in the backyard of a residence. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives from Major Crimes and the Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene.
Cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner's Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
