Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 responded to multiple 911 calls for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Liberty Avenue at Wood Street just after 8:15 p.m.
Officers on scene located an elderly male on the street with a laceration to his head, but no other serious injuries. He was alert and conscious. Medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with police.
The investigation is ongoing.
