Police Investigate Home Invasion, Assault in Carrick

Summary:

Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded to a 9-1-1 call for a reported home invasion in the 1700 block of Plateau Street just before 9 p.m.

Officers spoke with two male victims on scene who say they were assaulted by two males when they opened the door.

Medics transported both victims to the hospital with facial injuries.

Police say this appears to be an isolated incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
