Police Responded To A Shotspotter Alert In Uptown

Summary:

Pittsburgh Police responded to a Shotspotter alert for the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue around 10:50 p.m.

When Zone 2 officers arrived, they located a gunshot victim who was conscious and alert.

The male suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.

The suspect fled towards an unknown direction.

The investigation is ongoing.
