Police Responded To A Black Bear Sighting on Lemington Avenue

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police Zone 5 officers were notified of a black bear sighting in the early morning hours of April 15.
The report came in of a black bear spotted on the 7300 block of Lemington Avenue.
Animal Care and Control has contacted the Pennsylvania Game Commission and the 9-1-1 center has also been advised.
Anyone who spots a bear is advised to leave it alone, refrain from feeding it, and call 9-1-1 with a last seen location.
Officers from Zone 5 are monitoring the area.
