Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers from Zone 1 responded to reports of shots fired in the 3600 block of Baytree Street at 10:00 p.m. with a male who had possibly barricaded himself inside a residence and could be armed.
Members of the Pittsburgh Police SWAT Team and the Tactical Negotiations Team were sent in to try and establish communications.
After an extensive on-scene investigation, it was determined that no shots were ever fired and no one was barricaded inside the residence.
Police dismantled the SWAT call-out.
The investigation continues.
