Police Responded To a Reported Robbery in Brookline

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police responded to a reported robbery on the 700 block of Brookline Boulevard around 9:30 a.m.
When Zone 6 officers arrived, they were given a description, and learned the suspect handed the teller a note stating he had a weapon.
The suspect did not display a weapon when inside, and fled towards Pioneer Avenue shortly after.
Police located the suspect a few blocks away. He was positively identified, and arrested without incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
