Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Carrick Neighborhood

Summary:

Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded to the 300 block of Kirk Avenue for multiple 9-1-1 calls for a person shot just after 5:35 p.m.

Responding officers located a male victim outside of a vehicle with critical gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Witnesses told police they saw two male actors flee the area.

Detectives from Major Crimes and the Crime Scene Unit processed.

The investigation is ongoing.
