EMS and Police Responded To Woman Shot

Summary:

Pittsburgh EMS responded to the 5300 block of Broad Street around 5:20 p.m. for a 9-1-1 call of a woman not breathing.

When medics arrived, they were directed to the unconscious woman inside the home.

While rendering aid to the victim, medics noticed a gunshot wound on her chest.

She was pronounced deceased, and the investigation is ongoing.
