Police Investigate Shooting in Carrick

Summary:
Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers responded to a report of shots fired on the 1500 block of Amanda Street around 7:45 p.m.
Responding officers from Zone 3 found a male gunshot victim who had run from the scene to the 1400 block of Brownsville Road. Police provided initial aid, and Pittsburgh EMS transported him to a local hospital in critical condition.
VCU detectives arrived to process the scene. Police are searching for a short male in a hoodie who may have fled the scene on foot.
Police are investigating.
